I report on this yesterday about like the pictures from the story. It's very sad to see this thousand foot long carrier on its way to become cut into pieces.

They are remembered by every Sailor, Airman, & Marine who ever set foot on or served on any of them over their 50 service life span. That is a lot of people to be remembered by including families of those who served who were also influenced for a lifetime.
