Great share. Knew television had been around a while but not that color tv had been around since 1929. Strange that it took until the 60s for color tv to be in homes.

Unfortunately, there were not enough shows made in color until the mid-sixties to warrant the expense. That is when I started seeing more color televisions.

Ya, I suppose. Remember when many popular shows first started broadcasting in color and the NBC peacock that told you show was in color. Don't remember exactly when but we got our first color tv sometime while I was in high school, 60-64, big Magnavox console.
