Capt Daniel Goodman If there is a God Forsaken Rock between Here and Russia anywhere the Army, Navy, Marines and Air Force has at some Point Put Cryptologic Technicians there to Spy on Russia.

My neighbor in Japan 90-92, was an OTA. He used to do 90 day TAD's to far northern Japan. Never said exactly where. But he did say he "could see Russia". I'm think this base was maybe where he went. His wife couldn't contact him directly. She would call his command, then they would relay to him and vice versa.

My late older brother who was a trained Russian linguist in the Air Force back in the 50s and 60s was assigned to the Northern Islands of Japan wonder if this was it? I know he couldn’t wait to be reassigned to Berlin after this deployment!
