Sorry; Lawrence of Arabia's heyday was about 1916. I am still reading the book on my hand-held as I wait for doctors, mechanics and tire shops!

Interestingly the famous Peter o toole film though cinematically gorgeous and with interesting personality depictions, was I'd found not espec historically accurate. Lawrence was actually quite short physically though of course brilliant as the film depicts, and as the book he wrote the seven pillars of wisdom, clearly evidences. I'd seen photos of him with winston Churchill, an aspect the david lean film also never went into at all, which I'd always wanted to see depicted, yet nevee has been, you know?
