I imagine if this exchange happened now it would be in the form of tweet or text message instead of the letters of the 1960s SP5 Mark Kuzinski. Letters have long been included in historical artifacts. I expect the exchange between President Richard M Nixon on North Vietnamese leader Ho Chi Minh will be included in many places including the Nixon Presidential Library, the places that honor Ho Chi Minh and propaganda repositories.
“war of aggression” was an interestingly redundant term. Is there a possibility of a war of peace or compromise?

Good morning LTC Stephen Ford! I recall that during the Paris Peace accords that the North Vietnamese demanded reparations from the US in addition to a total troop withdrawal.
