When the Russians took over the Eastern side of Germany they never closed down the concentration camps. I saw that in a Documentary on Stalin.
Prior to that I never thought that anyone would not want to destroy them.
When in fact it is said that Stalin put them to use. I will have to go look that up again.

just the sight of it brings back the memories it the Tours of the concentration camps I was taken on as a dependent Child stationed in Germany in the early 1960's... listening to stories and seeing the artifacts and cells and bunk sand the horror it invoked
