The standards for Homeland Security agents is the lowest of all the services. I am sure there is a lot of information that we are not hearing about because all government agencies do whatever it takes to protect their department.

9That isn't necessarily true. DHS is a very large agency, and the word "agent" applies to many different groups of people with varying duties, across several subcomponents. You are going to find qualitative differences everywhere.

To be a police officer in most states, you must have at least an associates degree in criminology, or have an equivalent of military service. DHS does not require that.
