"Nefarious purposes"... Animal House is almost 40 years old and I've yet to see any ladders banned to the public. How many other nefarious purposes could there be aside from spying on your neighbors in various stages of undress... because we know that'll be the primary use for any of them.

No surprise there Sgt Wayne Wood that DHS is monitoring the use of, development for, and modification of commercial drones which have the potential for nefarious purposes.
I expect that has been on their radar for some time and hope that necessary and sufficient steps are being taken to protect the public at large without stomping on the rights of innocent people.
