And we thought nobody cared. 40,000,000 families care. I was not aware of this, but I'm happy to know it exists.
In November, VA, along with the entire country, celebrates National Family Caregivers Month. This is a time to honor and celebrate caregivers who selflessly provide care to ill, injured, or disabled Veterans. The theme of this year’s National Family Caregivers Month is “Take Care to Give Care.”

Thankfully, family members whom are approved and complete the East Seals online training can now receive a small compensation for the care they give their Veteran. It's hard work, and there's just not enough support out there for them.
