Well, I held out until I had more info. I have done extensive research because it is part of my job not social media or RP research. The bottom line is that the shot is effective. Yes you can still get it and yes you can still transmit it but if you get it the numbers and statistics show that 98% of the folks hospitalized and on vents and die never got the shot and those that did get the vaccine get a little sick and maybe not really realize they have or had it at all. For the military and yes the guard is still the military, and do fall under the DoD...it is a readiness issue. Those folks need to be ready to get their butts on a plane and deploy at a moments notice...period. This shot allows for that just like the anthrax/yellow fever/typhoid/gamma globulin/tetanus/smallpox etc etc etc. For now it is a direct order from the SecDef and if they violate a direct order from him or any Commander in the chain they violate the UCMJ and thus can be discharged...no different from a missed movement or any other violation. They took an oath where the words state "I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God." This isn't McDonalds you can't just quit because you don't like something. There is nothing immoral, illegal, illogical, and inhuman about our soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines being full up rounds ready to fight.

NOW...as far as civilians go, I think that should still be left up to each individual. There is no readiness requirement for them.

What's the basis for your claim that it's a shot that doesn't work? Please don't insult us by saying because people can still get Covid after being vaccinated. Most of us have seen people come down with a disease after getting all the pre-deployment required shots. Now I'll give you that today's military may have changed, but as I remember one can be summarily discharged for disobeying an order.

SFC Stephen King All of the research that I have read or heard about shows your claim of ineffectiveness false.
