When your charging 300-750% APR to soldiers, apparently you have plenty of money to buy members of congress.

"Rep. Steve Stivers, R-Ohio, has proposed an amendment that would require the defense secretary to certify that its internal lenders database meets "prevailing industry standards for the availability and accuracy of commercial databases" and allows real-time updates before new regulations regarding military lending rules are finalized."
I'm not going to lie, reading that sentence made me dizzy. never-the-less, I dove into that article.
I CAN'T F***ING BELIEVE IT. I seriously can't believe a member of the GOP, the flag-waving, gun-nutty, f**-Obama-and-everything-that-reminds-me-of-that-socialist party, is making it easier for predatory lending TARGETED at SOLDIERS!?!
I remember when I first read about these regulations. I said to myself "Great! Now, if only my wife had heard how much these lenders suck, like Congress apparently has. Go America!"
It's unfathomable. I'm at a loss. Can someone explain this to me, please?
