Could this auger the suicide of the Democratic party? People are fleeing places where they gave significant majorities to Democrats, especially in major urban areas. Sure, they'll probably vote Democrat wherever they land. I'm hearing rumblings of discontent in Texas where so many Californians have fled taking their Democratic preferences with them. Sadly, it seems, they don't realize they are carrying the blight of idiot politics with them. And as these highly populated places lose representation in Congress, they're also losing votes in the Electoral College which will make it harder for Democrats to win the White House.

Unfortunately for the residents of the States that they move to, they bring their politics with them and turn their utmost efforts towards making their new home into an exact replica of the mismanaged State they fled in the first place. One has to look no further than Oregon to see the after effects of an influx of displaced Californians and the damage they can do.
