I read somewhere that the Police in Dallas used too much combat looking gear, and they complained about them using the mechanical robot to take out the shooter. You know how I feel about that...
Police are ready in the wake of attacks in France and the United States, and police shootings in Texas and Louisiana.
After terrorists blew themselves up and killed 130 people in Paris last November, Miami-Dade police placed an order for 500 new protective vests and 500 high-powered assault rifles. When a crazed gunman killed 49 people in an Orlando nightclub last month, Miami Gardens police supervisors were ordered to begin new training for active shooter situations.
And in Miami, after an Army veteran ambushed and shot 12 Dallas police officers earlier this month, killing five of them, police were outfitted with 687 new steel-plated vests capable of repelling rifle fire.

You bet they do SGT David A. 'Cowboy' Groth. They're in a war as much as our armed forces are. With all of those police losing their lives in Texas and Florida, I'm for them doing whatever it takes to save their lives as well as the community.

SGT (Join to see) - They are indeed fighting a war. They should have more than the community when it comes to arms.
This one is also a war of idea's. I am sensing and fearing Marshall Law is on the horizon unless this hostility can be abated. It is simply crazy.

Kim Bolen RN CCM ACM, you're 100% correct. It is going to take help from the community to keep them safe. If someone knows about an upcoming attack on the Police, they should let the authorities know. If they know something and keep quite, they are as guilty as the shooter(s). I don't think Marshall law will have any effect on cop killers. If they are going to kill cops, they have no value for their lives. IMHO
