How Does Goal-Line Technology Work?

SGT (Join to see) When I played, I was a goaltender. I love this technology. I had many times where I made a stop with the ball halfway across the goal line. I got the benefit of the doubt 80% of the time, but that means 20% of those wound up being called a goal when they shouldn't have. On the flip side about half the time it actually fully crossed the line I got the benefit of the doubt. I would rather see them get it right all the time. Of course I would also have preferred not having it be that close.
