1stSgt Nelson Kerr I am a nerd, I envelop myself in science and I also am open-minded. Junk science is like what you scare in the past garbage in garbage out. Everybody agrees from dr. Judith Curry to the prime ministers of all Kyoto Accord countries that the Earth is warming. No doubt about that. Somehow along the way between the global cooling fear of 20 years ago came as global warming thing sometime around 2005. Now it's become public policy is unfinished. It's kind of like the F-35 of science. It keeps being modified as it's going through its toilet types and so far the climate change models don't add up and that's why she has seemed to have destroyed the faith of the climate change zealots because she is proving the math does not add up. What's happening right now is some provinces are fighting Canadian government because they're carbon capture and CO2 reductions or two way cheaper than raising the price of fuel and natural gas. I just want better proof because right now there is too much dogma and climate science and they kick out scientists who don't believe like they do. That's why I am upset. I read National Geographic I watch Discovery Channel I read everything to get my hands on on science and the stuff does not add up. That is my own personal opinion.

Global warming came up about 50 years ago and Global Colin was never more than a a hypothesis that only lastedfor a short time and never got all that much support. Betting against the Wright of evidence is like playing Russian Roulette with human life to save a few bucks. What odds would you consider necessary for it to be true before you would think the odds called for action? I think that the chances for AGW being real are at least 100 to one in favor but even if those odds were reversed I would say better safe than sorry. Not to mention the added side effect of healthier air.

LTC (Join to see) - Actually, what most conservatives I know complain about isn't that the MSM doesn't cover bad news about Muslims, it's that they minimize it or spin it to stay in line with a predetermined narrative. Then they straw-man the arguments that they think that they can refute by saying "the Republicans claim this" or "conservatives all say that."

But then I only know some people, not all people. Maybe you know different folks on the Right, or only count people as Right Wing if they are extremists...

SPC Steve ChenRobbins - I'm actually making my comments in response to this thread and many others on RP were the posters specifically say that the MSM hasn't covered a story, when in fact they have, and in detail. And from my experience, what they perceive as a lack of emphasis compared to the coverage on various right wing websites is actually that the MSM presents the facts with the overhyped "it's the end of the world" editorial comments that they are used to seeing.
