Employers across the country can and should place a larger emphasis on taking both the mental and physical health of veterans into consideration. I do understand needing veterans to be safe and comfortable in the workspace but so do other people. We need to find a way to do this without singling out the veteran as someone who necessarily needs special treatment. Otherwise employers won't hire anyone who says they are a veteran. I almost didn't get hired for just that reason.
