I have a picture of myself with a Tuskegee airman on the side of the safe at work. A young delivery man saw it but didn't know about the Red Tails. I talked to the young man about the Tuskegee Airmen and made the connection between them and Harry Truman's decision. Truman's decision was courageous given the attitudes at the time.
