I think this is paranoia. Russian efforts have been clumsy at best because among their marching orders they can never criticize Russian political leaders so in most discussions it is easy to pick out the Russian trolls in relatively short order.

I'm sure there is paranoia involved too, but this statement during the Comey hearing was pretty clear about how concerned we should be: "The Russians interfered with our election in 2016 ... there is no fuzz on that, it is a high confidence judgment"

LT (Join to see) - I guess choice of words there bothers me. Interfered or attempted to influence. I think the latter is more appropriate. Interfered implies they were successful when just about everyone has testified under oath they were unsuccessful. I've seen on discussion forums other than this one. Americans, Veterans and Active Duty alike are not completely stupid and can make a rational judgement after a discussion if someone is influenced or has an agenda. Russian trolls on the internet are pretty easily identifiable after a short conversation because they have ground rules on what they cannot say, the Americans in the discussion do not.
