How to carry off a great hoax

April Fools Day is almost upon us and I thought it might help us prepare if we studied up on the subject of hoaxes. Yes, there's an obvious one this year, inasmuch as April 1st is also Easter Sunday. Simply don't put out any Easter Eggs and send your children on the hunt. But, come on, you can be more original than that, can't you?
