PO3 (Join to see) There is an old adage that history is written by the victors. When I was in high school, our history books never talked about the Japanese internment camps in the U.S. It was something I learned about because of my interest in WWII. I say this because this young lady makes good points about educating yourself. You cannot just take information presented at face value. You have to dig to find all the information. That may be a hard task because nobody wants information that paints them in a bad light coming into the open. I personally think we need to abolish the party system, and just let candidates run on their values. Then if there are many candidates, people can vote for the one who's RECORD, not RHETORIC is closest to their values. Then at least we would have a government representative of the values of the most voters, but those elected officials would also know they don't have a mandate from the people, they simply represent a larger part of the pie. They would be forced to abide by their rhetoric, because if not, there would be another group to oust them. Instead we get Vote for D or R, at least we aren't those other guys. People don't vote for the best candidate, they vote for the least bad option.

Maybe this young lady could become our country's first true home grown African American president. She does her homework, she tells it like it is and is not afraid to step on people's toes. If more people had her mindset and intestinal fortitude this country would be a better place.

This young Lady is on the mark! The best thing about it is that this is a great video for any individual to watch. Each race, religion, sex is exploited by the same and different entities. These differences are used to divide US! We are so numerous and diverse as a nation that the only way a small group of people (entities) can oppress us is to make us want that oppression.
It is like when Sam Adams said " If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom - go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!"
This convoluted society we live in is a farm. "Some animals are more equal than others." Corporations and governments farm the people under their jurisdiction. It is the age old story. How we accept it is our story. I love the fact that she is doing this. We all need to try and do this when we can.
