Sounds fun, I don't trust those devices, but they are embedded in our phones, so I guess I have it in the home already...

Yes, I dont trust them either, however, as you stated they are already in our phones. Have you ever been talking and the phone answers like you were talking to it (Siri)? That happened a few times so all of the devices listen and hear you and now they say then new smart tvs have cameras, and I guess they do with portal access now, so they can also probably "see" you also. I have an echo, but I will stick with Alexa, dont need to change her to anyone else.
