Believe it or not, we were still getting classes in etiquette at USNA in the late 90's. It was kind weird at times...taught by an old "Marm" that had apparently been doing so since like WWII, but came in handy in later years as well. They actually do (did at least) try to instill some sense that being an officer includes being a gentleman...which for this Tennessee Hillbilly, was a real upward "climb" LOL
