I was at Fort Dix New Jersey watching this on TV while at the same time frustrated because I was unable to bring my backpack into the dfac because my CGSOC Schoolhouse first sergeant on base was acting like a sergeant major. He didn't want to tell us that the truth was he was worried about us officers and Senior ncos stealing food and they said we couldn't bring those backpacks or helmet bags in there for "safety" reasons. I thought, come on! This is not Mosul, Iraq in 2005 where someone brings an IED vest into the dining facility?
Okay, I'm off topic but yes it is really unfortunate and dangerous that we have a NATO Ally like this who is both friends of Russia and Iran and also launching airstrikes and hitting peaceful Kurdish groups that are not against turkey in Northern Iraq.

It just seems people don't take this as seriously as we need to. NATO has always been our best deterrent to Russian aggression. We are at a turning point were Putin has turned Russia. Into the old hostile Communist state that it was. Before Reagan was able to collapse the Soviet Union. I really believe Putin doesn't want a Cold War. I think he has set Russia up for a new kind of War. Waged not only with Cold War Tactics but new foreign influencing. Along with Hot war Cyber Attacks and civil conflict. I do believe China and Russia are cooperating to use. Syria and North Korea as a distraction in order to Usurp the U.S. as the the Super Power.

You are welcome! I would not be surprised that some of your soldiers from New Zealand and Australia are there to participate as well. Is also possible some from Brazil may show up as well. I've been living in the province since and I'm just now learning about these exercises. I'm really surprised about the British keeping a large Force at Canadian Forces base Suffield. This is been going on since 1971.
