Slightly misleading title. Not sure why anyone may have been not to trust their guts. Perhaps it was needed due to all the training to rely on your training above all else, despite what your eyes & guts are telling you?

Agreed $ 4 million bucks to give sense of combat pending, battlefield gut feeling, O.J.T training in A.O. procedure, lessons learned from veterans of the A.O. and common grunt sense another name. What does your "ESP" tell you what the Corps could have really done with 4 million dollars ? The private does not know sir !
