Awesome! I really, really hope we see boot prints on Mars before I kick the bucket. Even though I think Venus is a better colonization target.

MCPO Mark Durland - Exactly. Never mind the fact that resources on this rock are finite, and we're not doing anything to extend their longevity. They may be finite out there, too, but they're orders of magnitude more finite.

PVT James Strait - You're not bursting my bubble. Mostly because I think you're wrong. We're going out there. In eventual droves. The tech exists TODAY to get to and live on Mars. It's merely a matter of money. And the scarcer resources become here, the more valuable those out there will become.
