I remember in 1975 some chili mac was bad and my platoon was down. It got so bad that when requesting permission to speak, request permission to us the the head.....got very fast, and later we were allowed 12 hours without having to request to speak if requesting to go to the head.

Several of us got sick on some eggs the mess section made one time. The latrine was quite busy for a couple of days.
