Not hundreds but thousands, fill the Phoenix US National Cemetery far beyond capacity as cars trucks motorcycles and golf carts overflow cemetery parking and continues as far as the eye can see both directions and on three different streets. Veterans riders lined Cave Creek Road with hundreds of American Flags while inside efforts were underway to place a flag on every grave. This collaborated effort made the work easier for both groups (Veterans Riders and Memorial Flowers Foundation) as Flowers and Flags were placed. Flags for every grave, flowers for more than 2/3 of the 46,000 graves. Local florists who have amassed more than they can sell in order to ensure supply through out today, between 3pm and 5 pm we should (fingers crossed and prayers on lips) be able to ensure the remaining est 8000 graves will have a mixed array of individual flowers and bouquets before the cemetery closes today.
(even this took effort, as it came with a promise to the US Natl Cemetery to return within Wednesday Evening and Not Later than Thursday Morning to remove the flowers after the Desert Sun has eviscerated them) A huge success and an amazing honor, to honor those who have honored us in and by their service. Thank you, to all who have served and to all of you who still serve. Thank You, for your service, your protections, your sacrifices and your suffering. In remembrance of each and every one. Your Sacrifices Have Not Been Forgotten, HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY
