Hunter Killer

Tomorrow is my 56th birthday. Last year, I went to see Depeche Mode with my wife here in Edmonton. This was as exciting as that concert was but in a different way because this movie somewhat reminding me as a cross between Ice Station Zebra, Crimson Tide, Hunt for Red October and Air Force One all combined into one. I just came back from seeing Hunter- Killer and the movie was better than I thought it was going to be.

The movie critics seem to be giving a very low rating but the audience voted a solid B 85% rating. Some comments said to ignore the critics, don't listen to them, and go see the movie. I'm sure there will be some scenes that you Navy people will laugh at some of the fire commands were incorrect or missing. I'm sure all you Intel and Silent service guys will notice some mistakes but I'm sure that it was pretty impressive how they tried to recreate the inside of both American and Russian hunter-killer submarines. This movie had a very surprise ending. I would recommend it for a matinee if you aren't sure about forking out money. My seven and 11-year-old daughters were at the edge of their seats and my Wife was even impressed by the movie. My seven-year-old daughter and my Wife did not like Dunkirk while my 11-year-old daughter did.

This movie also features U.S. Navy Seals doing an infiltration of Russia. Go see this movie, I'm sure you will like it. It does not have a lame love story like Pearl Harbor. It has Nonstop Action and it has some halfway decent actors that you already know from other movies.

I was so upset at the critics that I went to register to Rotten Tomatoes and I put my own positive comments and my own negative comments to Critics who probably went to Canada to get Stoned before watching this movie. LOL. I hope others go on rottentomatoes.com and also put in their personal comments/
