It's called "profiling". We can pass all the laws we like but it will take centuries to significantly alter people's perceptions and attitudes. Of course, they'll never change so long as the hate mongers and race baiters keep feeding the prejudice.

Who is race baiting? This was the call they got: "Madison police said they got a 911 call about a "suspicious vehicle." The police report said the male caller "thinks they are waiting for drugs at the local drug house.""
His first thought at seeing three black females in a car was "drugs." That's ridiculous. Who said anything about a law?

SFC Kelly Fuerhoff - No one is "racing baiting" in this story (Dear God, do I really have to explain this?) It is the sad outcome of profiling (as I specifically stated in the beginning of my comment) Now, forgive me for going on to comment on the reason profiling continues even though it is official policy and law that police may not use profiling. In this instance, the profiling was initiated by the residents who called the police. How come they're profiling? Well, it's out of habit. How are we going to reverse those habits? By educating people. (Now pay attention. This is where the second part of my comment comes from...) Profiling is based in prejudice. Prejudice is learned. And for as much as we work to reeducate people to celebrate rather than merely tolerate differences in human appearance and habit, there are those who profit, the hate mongers and race baiters, who continue to exacerbate these prejudices. I hope that serves your needs. If not, don't ask for me. I'm tired of this.

CPT Jack Durish - All of what you replied I already know. But thanks anyway. I don't need a lesson on prejudice or profiling at all. I'm very well aware of why it exists and that it exists. So your reply was useless.
I didn't ask you for anything. You mentioned race baiting in conjunction with this post. Anyone would have then responded what I did to you. Have a lovely day.
