Upon losing his wife at a young age, Ira Stanphill wrote this song expressing a prayer of surrender to his Savior under circumstances he didn’t understand.
God doesn’t promise that walking with him will be easy, but what he does promise is that every day of our lives is in his hands and we can rest in the hope of his Son, Jesus Christ, who paid the punishment for our sins so that we can have hope and eternity with him!
In this season of uncertainty we are so thankful for a loving Savior who gladly takes our worries and bears our burdens so that we can walk one day at a time with eternity in our hearts. He holds tomorrow, and he holds each day in his hands ❤️ Happy Easter. He is risen indeed!

Lyrics
"I don't know about tomorrow
I just live from day to day
I don't borrow from the sunshine
For the skies they turn to grey.
And I don't worry for the future
For I know what Jesus said
And today I'll walk beside him
For he's what lies ahead.
Many things about tomorrow
I don't seem to understand
But I know who holds tomorrow
And I know who holds my hand.
Every step is getting brighter
As the golden stairs I climb
Every burden's getting lighter
Every cloud is silver-lined.
There the sun is always shining
There no tear will ever dim the eye
At the ending of the rainbow
Where the mountains touch the sky.
Many things about tomorrow
I don't seem to understand
But I know who holds tomorrow
And I know who holds my hand."
