Good look into what USAFE was like back in the day. Best job I ever had...only job I will ever miss.

I was at Bitburg in the late 80s. Probably the best base but they closed it.

What an OUTSTANDING video! I was at RAF Mildenhall in the early 80’s and it was pretty much like that! Down to hitchhiking to work. I lived off base and on a main GI route, and always got a ride & made shift.I loved it over there and I didn’t want to come back. No openings for GS tho

SrA Melanie Omer I'm glad you liked the video. Europe in the 80s was fun. I was at Bitburg in the late 80s and can't believe all the fun we had.

Very truthful words spoken by the pilots at the 28:00 mark. seems things have not changed from generation to generation.
