Ike’s Lament: In Search of a Revolution in Military Education

"...now we have a window of opportunity to reform PME. To start, let’s begin with restating Ike’s (Skelton) thesis, expressed to me as an intent:
To develop an exceptionally rigorous system of joint selection and education that will produce a cadre of superbly gifted strategic leaders capable of anticipating, planning, and leading in future wars."

I remember Ike Skelton. He was one of the last Truman Democrats here in MO. A country boy that took a strong national defense to heart.
