One of my ancestors, a Quaker, came to America as an indentured Slave. When he arrived his contract was sold to a Puritan who was the Tax Collector in another town. The lazy, self righteous Tax Collector would send him out to collect the Taxes. It wasn't until the Owner died that the Puritan Townsfolk discovered he had cleaned them out. He went to a Quaker town to join those self righteous butts. He has been buried on Nantuckett since the 1600's
