Why do people flee poverty and oppression and then vote for more of the same here in the United States? I bet you've asked yourself this question countless times. I have. Well, it seems that at least one of those who fled is asking the same question.

I don't understand why people vote for what they are trying to escape from, that can apply to immigrants, but also to those fleeing from one (liberal over regulated) state to another less regulated state. :(
