Every dog has it's day, and in this article Trump is having his with me. I actually support some of the ideas he's mentioned, and think it would be very worthwhile. Now the parts I don't agree with are treating allies based upon how nice they are to us. This isn't a popularity contest. And how nice has Israel been to us? Nato I can agree with, Removing troops from overseas...not so much. We pulled all those troops out of Europe, and we're now moving them back in? His foreign policy team...not so sure about that one. Don't know all the resume's of those he chose, but to not have any diplomats or professionals who've dealt with foreign policy in their daily duties, might be a mistake. In some cases foreign policy is the business end of a weapon. We need to shift focus away from breaking the status quo just for the sake of being different and actually incorporate those flag officers along with a dedicated civilian corps to make an effective foreign policy team.

Now this is one thing i actually agree with. I think america should come first with our government. We cant really take care of others until we start taking care of this country. Folks in Isreal, France and other countries didnt vote your butts into office. The infastructure in this country needs to be revamped. Start helping out the people in this country. THAT DOES NOT MEAN GIVING PEOPLE STUFF FOR FREE. Help others succeed like others have helped you. This country is only as strong as its weakest citizen.

Its a shame that "America First" would distinguish one candidate from another! But that's the reality of how far left our country has moved. I'm no Trump fan, but if I have to vote for him against Hillarie or the Bernster I will.

I can respect that, but I disagree with the country moving to the left. We're being pulled both left and right, and no one wants to admit we need to be centered. You don't shoot your M4 intentionally trying to zero it shooting it far left or right. You adjust it to center, and aim center mass. IF America was able to do that with politics there would be some bent folks, but the VAST majority would be extremely satisfied in their daily lives.

I agree that Trump needs to re-educate himself on foreign policy. But if that's his only shortcoming, he's still far more competent than the rest. Foreign policy changes, and he already admitted that he will consult others to make the 'correct choice.'
