Five Guys is overrated and overpriced imo.
I personally prefer Whataburger, Milo's (which is exclusive to Alabama, but growing), and Smashburger. Red Robin is good too. Better than the places mentioned in the article. I almost forgot Burgerville, which is exclusive to the I-5 corridor in WA/OR.

SSG (Join to see) Heck yeah! WHAT A BURGER!...but a couple of local places here knocks the socks off of most of them. Don't care for Fuddruckers... Whataburger is way better than Fuddruckers for sure.

How could In 'n Out be America's favorite burger? That would be like Hillary Clinton winning the election for President. In 'n Out operates in very few states and Hillary campaigned in even fewer places. To be fair, it might well be America's favorite if it did business elsewhere, in a majority of the states. It most likely would be the favorite of its employees. One of the reason In 'n Out is so good is that they take very good care of their employees, pay better and offer benefits that few other burger chains can match. Oh, and brands like McDonalds, Wendy's, et al shouldn't even be mentioned in an article with In 'n Out and Five Guys.

CSM Charles Hayden - Keep going with that old crap, we'll have to see how you can be recalled, take all of your chevrons away, and make you a Spec2(I know there never was one, but humor me) to make you realize you are only as old as you feel, not what your age dictates. Be YOUNG CSM!!!
