I knew this would happen. This is what happens when your in a leadership position and not viewed as being decisive enough to make a decision and stick with it. Even before Trump, too many flip-flops and accepting of compromises with the Democrats when he should have held firm. Hopefully, he gives up his Presidential ambitions as well.

Although I've had (severe) differences of opinions with Ryan, my heart went out to him. He was put in that position after Boehner got yanked from being Speaker of the House (I saw an interview with him a few days ago and he never looked happier) and people thought that Ryan was the firebrand needed, until Ryan found out just how hard the job is and how unforgiving the same people that cheered his being put in that position are.
