There is “bipartisan concern” that standing up a Space Force as a separate military service is wasteful and not the best way to address space security challenges, Rep. Adam Smith (D-Wash.), the ranking Democrat on the House Armed Services Committee, told reporters on Wednesday.

Seems like it would make sense for starters to be incorporated into the Air Force; at least until we can see if it really needs to be it's own Service. Boy, if you think the Air Force has inflated egos now, wait until you run into a few USAF Starship Troopers!
