No. 1000 times no. 1,000,000 times.

Tinnitus has a BASE rating of 10%. It CAN go higher for severe cases. I have tinnitus. I am rated for it. It is, at worst, a mild annoyance to be endured periodically. I admit, minor is a minor case. But I should NOT recwive 30% for it. Whether I should receive 10% is questionable. 30% puts it on par with major depression. An AUTOMATIC rating of 30% for OCCASIONAL intermittent ringing which is distracting but not debilitating is a complete and total farce.

I am NOT saying that there are not those with tinnitus who TRULY suffer and SHOULD rate 30%. I am saying that those folks with those issues are ALREADY eligible for 30%. And if the tinnitus is so bad that it is causing major depression, then even if it is only 10%, it is now 37% - 30 for major depression and 7 (10% of remaining 70% following VA math) for tinnitus.

This petition is a petition for a waste of funds and time.
