I didn't know India was involved in the nuclear missile race.
IndiaOn Monday, India successfully test-fired its first long range nuclear-capable missile for the fourttime. The missile is capable of traveling from one continent to another and can be outfitted to carry nuclear payloads. The Agni-V can travel more than 3,107 miles, further than any other missile developed and tested by the Indian military. President Pranab Mukherjee hopes that the missile will help fortify the country’s military and help them receive a permanent seat in the United Nations Security Council. He tweeted:

SGT (Join to see) - Nope but we do have some unwanted carryover from the Cold War. Back in the Bad Old Days we needed a location that afforded us air bases not far from USSR we developed a Relationship with Pakistan, India's Sworn Enemy. Also there was an Attitude that you were either with us or against us. India was the Leader of the "Non-Aligned Nations" so by default they were "With" the Soviets. That was a stupid attitude but it was there. They have bought some weapons systems from the Soviets now the Russians but they have bought from everyone to include Us.
