I am more worried about the sane and honorable people simply walking away rather constantly catering to the whims of the loon

PO3 Steven Sherrill I hate these articles. They are writing "news" from other peoples articles. To add to the frustration it came from a liberal slanted Bloomburg who is known to use totally unverifiable sources to create news that fits their agenda to discredit President Trump.

Unlike the previous President, Trump does not surround himself with "yes" men. The liberal press seems to what to paint a picture that Trump is dumb, which he is not. He understands that he needs others perspectives to make informed decisions. Remember our Sec D was forced to retire because he expressed his opinion one too many times to Obama. Thanks to that style of politics we are now having to deal with nuke happy N. Korea and Iran.

SGT William Howell It is really a sad commentary. News is supposed to be just that. No right leaning, no left leaning, just information. This is what happened, this is when it happened, these are the players, this is where, now you have the facts, form an opinion on said facts based on your own viewpoint. Instead it is all about shaping opinion. You are right that Trump has not surrounded himself with Yes men. The two problems I see (totally just my opinion) 1) Donald Trump doesn't believe in anything but expanding the recognition of the Trump brand, and he will do anything to make that happen. This job has done that, but also taken him away from that. 2) Donald Trump is not used to people disagreeing with him. Trump is his business. He runs it the way he sees fit to run it, and nobody questions him on it. Being POTUS every decision he makes is analyzed, criticized, politicized, and torn apart. There is going to be an adjustment period to that. If he adjusts, and learns to find middle ground, then he might succeed. If he doesn't, he will be as bad as those in the swamp he promised to drain.

PO3 Steven Sherrill - I have no doubts Trump ran for President with the realization that for a cool mil he could get 50 fold return on free advertising for the Trump Brand. I don't think he had the intention of actually being President. I think he is looking at what is good for the country and making decisions based on that and not what is good for his company. They may walk hand in hand though. I don't see anything wrong with getting companies excited about growth, starting to hire, and start giving people raises. For the last 8 years companies have tried to just hang on because nobody knew what stupid law would force them to lose money and if that would be the one to put them out of business. Trump has been very open about what he plans on doing. Much more open that the previous President who was going to have "The most transparent administration in history." We saw how that promise went.

I disagree with people not agreeing with Trump. While he is high profile there is a person on the other side of the table trying to make as much money as they can also. He is just as smart as Trump. They both have to see eye to eye so everybody can make money. People disagree all the time in the business world. I have fought tooth and nail with our sales guys. They are high volume - low margin and I am high margin - lower volume. We fight about it all the time. We are all good friends at the end of the day. He understands business and in business there has to be information given from every side. That means surrounding yourself with good people that tell you the truth no matter if you like it or not. Guys like McMaster.

We have seen since November how the progressives will do anything they can to attempt to discredit Trump.
We have also seen 'leaks' of incomplete, incorrect or flat out lied from insiders that disagree with Trump to side track the Trump Administration.
It is bad enough that Trump has to fight the opposition from the democrats, media and all the progressive 'experts' but he is also having to fight the republican elites.

It's actually very convenient these days - the "progressives" don't have to actually DO anything to discredit the President. He manages that just fine on his own.
