I wonder how Iran has the money for this flotilla to deploy to US/Venezuela? Could have been a nice gift before current POTUS came into office?

I suggest that any nation that offers Iran a port to resupply/refuel lose their US foreign aid and any other special considerations that they may receive from US

That was a smart suggestion. That is probably why we are not smart enough to use your suggestion. Also we have DEM congressional critters who are socialist and would be upset if this would hurt other socialist countries like Venezuela.

I would be less concerned about this action than Russian spy ships and submarines operating along our coastal regions.

As long as they are in international waters, but I doubt that even our coast guard is afraid of the Iranian navy, much less than our actual navy.
