Iraqi officer? Should it read Iraqi Shia officer? It would explain a much deeper issue in the ME and the tribal warfare we avoid.
If any Muslim holy day is coming up Shia, or Sunni, stay away from markets and Mosques. They blow up for some reason.

I would tend to agree... but remember that Iraq was majority Shia ruled by a Ba'athist/Sunni minority.
