Great story COL Mikel J. Burroughs I have seen videos of eagles going after drones but I did not know they were being trained for it! I have the same drone depicted in the picture and I'd be pissed to see a bird grab it! LOL Drones can be a problem so it stands to reason the French military is trying to deal with the issue.

Thanks for sharing COL Mikel J. Burroughs. We have long been training dolphins, military working dogs and homing pigeons so I am not surprised that France has learned to train eagles as well as dogs and pigeons.
To be honest, I am glad that the trained eagles were named d'Artagnan, Athos, Porthos and Aramis in honor of Alexander Dumas "The Three Musketeers" adventure story.
