I takes longer to get rid of a GS employee....That's government for you whether federal, state or local.
But then again, we should look at overall dismissal of bad cops and not always focus on the anecdotal. We should have faith that the odd case will spur some action to ensure it won't happen again.

Capt Gregory Prickett Years ago, as always w/ me. A friend who was an LAPD Motor Officer stopped in Chicago while on vc and checked into a Chicago Police station. Ed Harper, may he RIP, was asked how much 'side money' he made monthly,
When he replied 'zero$', the Chicago PD questioner told of the apartment building he had purchased w/ 'side money'!
POTUS, HRC or Trump, we must all support and vote for having an accountable, honest, responsible police presence in our communities!

Depends, you have to build the case. That means you have to gather dirt that sticks. 10 years is a long time, but you've got to get it right once.

Capt Gregory Prickett
If you can't make a case for termination within a year, you're not a competent investigator. This case could have been resolved within 90 days, based on the video and the witnesses.
