Yes it is more difficult for some Veterans. Some can adapt easily and others struggle.

Yes it is! For multiple reasons.
For one, SOME Servicemembers (again: SOME) with no education or certifications believe that AIT and OJT is enough to land in the door of a great paying job. That is not always the case. Be prepared to compete with others for even entry-level positions.
Two, civilian sector is tough. The bonds are much harder to develop.
I found it easier once I found a fellow veteran who I can talk things out with. I also found life easier one I opened my eyes (and my mind) to what people were showing me.
