Dissension in the ranks is a great tool to use against Da'esh. This will lead to distrust and splits within the group itself. The ministry said in the statement "In three different areas on the left side of Mosul, people have started uprising against ISIS."

I would not get too optimistic because the old USSR had similar disruptions which lead to Stalin taking control. As far as I am concern the ISIS is no different than the old USSR after WW-I and without US intervention we will see some solidification behind a "strongman" leader.
