I think that it is and always will be the Captain's job to create a great working environment. How's it go, a happy employee is a working employee. This does shed a little light on what's going on with all of these navy ships getting into accidents, lmmfao, in the middle of the ocean. Lives lost over what?
I knew what you signed up for when you joined the navy. You had to know that you were going to spend a undetermined amount of time on a navy ship going in a undetermined

SPC Brett Curry I hear you. I just hope that these incidents bring reality crashing back and readiness is ramped up.

I would have to agree with SPC Curry... It is up to the Captain, The XO, even the upper enlisted ranks of the ship to encourage a Positive, motivated Environment onboard these ships.. What kind of a Cluster F... would arise should they ever face a Confrontation ?? Actually the same applies to upper-level management in the civilian world.. Management is to LEAD, Motivate, even to Improve on the entire Environment we work in ... Simplicity , Safety , Productivity .. These three equal Success, profitability for all ..
