Iwo Jima - Once Enemies, Now Friends

I love stories like this. I was a recipient of Japanese love and affection when I was in port at several of their cities. Only one lady could not forgive me, an American. Thank you, PO3 Steven Sherrill. I know this is about Iwo Jima vets, but in 1971, when I was in Japan, there was still a lot of admiration for American military boys. It was incredible, to say the least.
