Jack-I'm going to be honest; I think the person asking this question is likely one of those who oppose "gun control", and are (unwisely) attempting to get others to voice their commitment to "act", should such measures take place. It astounds me on a daily basis how little people seem to understand that talk is cheap... but what one posts online is permanent and public record. Thank God there wasn't "social media" in the 18th Century.

CPL Joy Downs Hart - Because I believe the ultimate goal isn't to take our arms, but to make it felonious to own them. Once that happens, it provides the grounds to portray every supporter of the 2A (and perhaps by extension, the Constitution itself) as a a "criminal". My opinion is that these people don't play "fair"...they don't want a physical fight; what they want is to disenfranchise those who oppose their ideals. That's why I believe we speak loudest from the voting booth, and must continue to support candidates at every level of public office who will defend our rights.
